Thanks to an excellent water-bus service, you can quickly and easily visit the larger islands of Venice, renowned for their typical crafts and, of course, their spectacular views.
Burano is famous for its handmade lace and colourful houses; Murano is home to hand-blown glass: here you can visit furnaces and see master glassmakers at work. End your tour with a visit to solitary Torcello with its promise of peace and quiet. On these islands, you really have the impression of living in another era, where customs and traditions have not yet been affected by the passage of time.

It’s one of the oldest cities with Roman origins. It is widely known as the "City of Palladio", as works by the famous architect can be seen throughout the city.

In Vicenza it is worth seeing the Piazza dei Signori, the Basilica Palladiana and the Teatro Olimpico. A noteworthy religious site is the church of Monte Berico and its beautiful staircase.

Verona is also the Italian city which, after Rome, perfectly preserves works dating back to the Roman Empire. The Arena, the famous amphitheatre, which can seat over 20,000 people, is currently the venue for the world's most famous and prestigious concert and opera performances.
